If you haven't heard earlier release on SSR. ruota is project from Italy and makes minimalistic lo-fi blend of analogue drum machines and synthesizers, running and recorded live through a digital interface. This new release called  "atmosfere" is as it says atmospheric and ambient kind of music with a slight noise parts which makes this album so nice for listening.

Splitting Sounds Records just released our 100th album! We are so proud to last this long and our 100th album released is proof that Splitting Sounds Records is growing stronger! Brad says back when he released an album called 'Falling Into The Traps I Leave Myself" he found four tracks that were incorporated in the original  sessions but never released. Naturally this album is called "Falling". As Harkan is not active anymore this album is an exclusive release.

Today we release this amazing 3 track album called Postcard from Norilsk. Johnny in the Jungle is three piece instrumental band from Hungary. Their music can be categorized as psychedelic/post-rock/jungle but is much more than that. Postcard from Norislk is the tale of a young guy moving there leaving family and friends behind to make ends meet and also in search of a different lifestyle. Norilsk is a mining town located in Syberia, Russia. It is one of the most northern located urbanized areas of the world.  Check this one out!

Today is the day SSR is releasing new album from Phantasm Nocturnes called Haunted Ruins. As previous album from Phantasm Nocturnes, this one is also dark and scary. But it is somehow more ambient and filled with strange sounds and effects. And they are used in the right way so songs are not "boring" despite drone influences. Of course there are two noise tracks, and its up to you to find which ones they are. Last track will give you a 14 minute ride through dark ambient "Desolated Tombs".
